DAC CCUS

Direct air capture (DAC) approaches extract the CO2 already present in the atmosphere, offering potential to reverse global warming. Carbon capture, utilisation and storage or sequestration (CCUS) approaches help slow the impact of global warming by removing CO2 after the combustion of carbon-containing fossil fuels.

MOF materials are equally adept at capturing CO2 from a direct air source as they are a post-combustion source. Promethean is engaged with customers pursuing both direct air as well as post-combustion approaches to carbon capture.
